Transcend Memory Card drivers are tiny programs that enable your Memory Card hardware to communicate with your operating system software. Some manufacturers classify their cards at a slower speed even though they qualify for a higher class. SanDisk make some cards that would qualify for class 10 and rates them as class 6. It captured okay video with the class 4 card I had but the video is much better with this card. So much so that you can usually get double the capacity in your Transcend card, and still come out cheaper than it's big name rival. The card does perform noticeably faster than my slower-rated cards. Bottom line is I do not recommend these cards. If you are only buying one card, and intend to keep it in your camera, that's probably ok. A certain portion of the storage capacity may be reserved for firmware and maintenance use.
However, if you intend to buy several, so that you're not putting all your pix on one card, then beware! It will stop recoding when it has a buffer problem.
