This chapter presents the results of an interdisciplinary study of the balance of power between non-state homelands and their diaspora populations, particularly of homeland engagement in diaspora affairs, through an in-depth exploration and analysis of the complex relationship between the Basque diaspora institutions and the contested homeland, Euskal Herria the Basque Country.
